We'll get you going again.

A broken boiler or faulty heating system is miserable — especially in winter. Our engineers carry the most common parts on every van, which means most repairs are sorted in a single visit. No waiting days for a part to arrive. No second appointment. Just fixed.

All of our engineers are experienced in diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of gas boiler, heating systems and appliances. We'll tell you upfront what the problem is, what it'll cost, and give you our honest opinion on whether a repair or replacement makes more sense.

How a repair visit works

1
You call, we listen

Tell us what's happening and when it started. We'll give you an honest assessment over the phone and book you in — often same or next day.

2
Diagnosis on arrival

Our engineer carries out a full diagnostic — not just a look at the obvious. We check the whole system to make sure we fix the actual problem, not just the visible symptom.

3
Fixed-price quote

We quote the job upfront — no surprises when the invoice arrives. If we need a part that's not on the van, we'll tell you exactly when we can return.

4
Repair & test

We carry out the repair, then test the full system before we leave. If anything else looks like it needs attention, we'll flag it — without pressuring you to spend more.

5
12-month warranty starts now

Your repair is covered. We'll also let you know if we think an annual service would help prevent future issues — entirely your call.

Sound familiar?

Here are the most common heating problems we're called out to fix. If yours isn't on the list — give us a ring anyway, we'll almost certainly be able to help.

No heating or hot water

The most common call-out. Usually a faulty diverter valve, failed PCB, thermocouple or ignition issue — most fixed same visit.

Leaking boiler or pipes

Water dripping from your boiler or pipework needs urgent attention. We'll locate the source, stop the leak and repair properly.

Cold radiators

Cold at the top? Trapped air — a bleed fixes it. Cold at the bottom? Sludge build-up — we'll power flush and get heat back.

Low boiler pressure

Pressure dropping repeatedly often means a leak somewhere in the system. We'll find it and fix it — not just top it up and leave.

Boiler error / fault codes

Flashing lights and cryptic codes decoded. We carry diagnostic equipment and know most manufacturer fault codes by heart.

Noisy boiler or pipes

Banging, kettling or gurgling sounds are often a sign of sludge, limescale or a failing pump. We'll diagnose and sort it.

Pilot light keeps going out

Usually a faulty thermocouple or draught issue. A quick fix in most cases — and an important one for safety.

Pump or valve failure

Circulation pumps and zone valves are common failure points. We carry replacements for the most popular models on every van.

Not sure what's wrong?

That's fine — just call us. Describe what you're seeing (or hearing!) and we'll give you a steer. No call-out charge for advice.

Common questions

We aim for same-day or next-day visits for standard repairs. For genuine emergencies — no heating in winter, suspected gas leaks — we have an engineer on call 24hrs a day. Call us and we'll give you an honest ETA straight away.

We charge a standard diagnostic visit fee which covers the engineer's time to assess the fault and quote the repair. This is clearly stated when you book. If you go ahead with the repair, the visit fee is absorbed into the total. No nasty surprises.

Our 12-month warranty covers the specific fault we repaired — both parts and labour. If the same fault reoccurs within 12 months of our repair, we'll fix it at no extra cost. It doesn't cover unrelated new faults that develop after our visit or faults that are created due to failing to follow our advice, where sludge or limescale has had a part to play or where a 3rd party has interferred.

We'll always give you our honest view. As a rough rule: if the repair cost is more than half the price of a new boiler, or your boiler is over 12–15 years old and regularly breaking down, replacement is usually the better investment. We're not in the business of flogging you a new boiler if a repair is the sensible choice.

Our engineers are experienced across a wide range of manufacturers — Vaillant, Viessmann, Worcester Bosch, Ideal, Baxi, Glow-worm, Potterton and many more. For very old or obscure models, parts availability can occasionally be an issue, but we'll always let you know as soon as we become aware of an issue and we have a wide and varied supply chain established.

It depends on the noise. Mild gurgling or occasional clicking is usually harmless but worth getting checked. Loud banging, a smell of gas, or your boiler locking out are signs you should stop using it and call us straight away. When in doubt, call — we're always happy to talk it through.
