N4 Gas is looking for qualified, experienced gas engineers to join our team. If you represent candidates who meet our requirements, here's everything you need to know before submitting.
All roles are full-time, 40 hours per week, based across North and Central London. Salaries are basic — benefits are in addition to the figures shown.
Servicing and maintaining domestic gas heating appliances for our established client base on the North Bank of the Thames. You'll carry out landlord gas safety inspections and provide compliance and energy efficiency advice to clients and tenants.
There's an element of breakdown and repair during the winter months — we actively support engineers in developing these skills.
A broad and varied role covering commercial plant rooms, residential units and potentially work under the Factories Act — depending on your modules. Suited to a true gas engineer who wants variety and the opportunity to prove their capabilities.
IGEM registration preferred. You'll cover the full inner M25 area with a primary zone established. Domestic and commercial ACS modules required — catering, LPG and leisure modules advantageous; we can add these for the right person.
Servicing, maintaining and installing air source heat pumps alongside conventional gas heating systems as we expand into the renewables sector. Primarily domestic work, similar to our Domestic Heating Engineer role, with renewable energy elements as the work presents itself.
Coverage will generally be within the North and South Circular roads.

On completion of the candidate's first 30 days of employment
On completion of the first 3 months of employment
Final payment on completion of 6 months of employment

We review a maximum of 5 CVs per 30-day period per agency. Additional submissions within the same period will be charged at £15 + VAT per CV, invoiced at the end of the period.
Feedback on candidates is only provided if the covering email includes the exact role title from this page against which the candidate is to be assessed.
CVs are reviewed on receipt during normal working hours — Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. We will not acknowledge individual submissions but will contact you if a candidate is to progress.
Do not waste our time by simply adding us to your mailing list - You will be blocked. We have roles that need filling by good candidates and we are happy to pay for strong leads, but reposting indeed listings is not acceptable and will ultimately get you blocked from reaching us.
Call us during office hours and we'll be happy to discuss the roles and clarify any of the terms above.
