Working areas

Engineers will be offered a primary working area based on the team that they reside in. However there will be times when engineers will be required to travel througout London. We are all engineers here and understand the challenges and stresses associated with working in certain parts of town, we do our best to limit excessive travel, but it is not always possible and candidates must be aware that they may have to enter busier and more challenging working areas.

An engineer, not a number, not an upseller

Unlike most companies that work in London, we are very much about the person and not being numbers. Being a gas engineer can be lonely despite the amount of people we come into contact with. If you want to be part of a team, we are that team. We help one another and work with each other to provide real solutions to our clients. We are not about getting a body through a front door, we want a high first time fix rate, which means we require all of our engineers to be at the top of their game, we don't want salesmen. Our clients respect us for being engineers, not sales people.

You must be able to offer honest, decent advice about energy saving and performance and we want engineers to bring their own ethics, ideas and solutions to the table, but we don't want people selling products or service just because they can.

Want to apply?

All potential staff will be required to complete a knowledge test, interview, criminal record check and will require at least one recent industry reference of good standing. We do sometimes ask that a trial day be completed with one of our senior gas engineers.

To apply for a position listed above or find out more about who we are and what we offer our staff, please contact us via email (With a CV if possible)... Send enquiries to: working@n4gas.co.uk

Recruitment companies and agents

Unfortunately we will not accept CVs from recruitment consultants or companies/persons that wish to charge "finder fees". So far our time invested in candidates obtained from this route has been, to be frank, a complete nightmare and we will no longer be accepting referrals from agencies.

Work Experience & Portfolio Opportunities

Please be aware that we are unable to offer work experience or gas entry portfolio opportunities. We know that getting into the gas industry is hard and we really do wish you the best of luck with your search, but unfortunately our small team and client base is unable to support in field training for non-employees at this time.
